Page long outdated, it was a start, the one remaining plant isback out over the fish tank and doing better,,, these plants are thirsty.. Over the winter 7 held on and some grew to impressive height on small stalks,, and that was without the tank.. Some inch worms almost did in the plants last fall,, so i brought them in a didn't water enough.. I will upload an image when i can..
The results are in their second year with one plant survivning,, This is swamp-grass thirsty,,, and the tiny-fish seem to provide the nutrients in a poorly cared-for small tub,, that can hold two 9"cubed grow-bed containers confortably .

I strted many seeds in this setup then transplanted with remarkable result.
Beats, peas, peppers, asperabus, almost entierly on rain water,, some that was recovered frombucket storage by unisng a kitchen Ozonizer,, producing beautiful water from heavily tannin discolored and even "Fouled",, first -capture rinse water...

As for lights,,, I have not been impressed with results from LED strips.


Stick with flourescent.. I've seen noticible improvement in the appearance and vigor of my third series of seed starting and a holdover seedling from a rough thinning-transplant.. Might have pictures when the pepper plants spreads its new leaves.
